Epsilon Chapter Recognized at Grand Chapter Meeting
December 2007

The Epsilon Chapter was represented at the National Advisory Council Meeting and the Grand Chapter meeting by Bob Kimbrell, Tommy Rhodes, Holly Resmondo, and Lee Bain.

 

Outstanding Chapter of the Year
Presented to the Epsilon Chapter for continuing to strive for excellence in local chapter activities, service to chapter membership and service to the Grand Chapter. Accepted by Holly Resmondo.


Blue Key Award - Presented to Epsilon Chapter for initiating most new members in 2007. Accepted by Holly Resmondo.


Chapter Outstanding Member of the Year  - Wade Hancock. Accepted by Bob Kimbrell.


Raymond Christensen Distinguished Service Award -Debra Holcombe. Accepted by Tommy Rhodes.


Chapter Business and Industry Workforce Developer of the Year - ITT Technical Institute. Accepted by Tommy Rhodes.

New Executive Director
Charlotte Heatherly has agreed to accept the position of Epsilon Executive Director. Charlotte has been a long-time member of ILS, serving on several committees and previously serving as Director.

 

 


Tommy Rhodes selected to serve on ILS Grand Chapter Advisory Council
Tommy Rhodes, CTE Director for Baldwin County, has been selected to serve on the Grand Chapter Advisory Council. His appointment will be for four years, eventually leading to the chair of the National Council. Tommy is also the President-Elect of the Epsilon Chapter.

 


Awards Given at 2007 Annual Summer Meeting
   

Charlotte Heatherly presents the Chapter Business and Workforce Developer award to ITT Technical Institute. The award was accepted by Bennie Reeves of ITT.

Jim Kendrick was presented the Randall Peacock Lifetime Achievement Award

 


The Epsilon Outstanding Member was awarded to Wade Hancock

Debra Holcombe accepts the J F Ingram Distinguished Service Award

A plaque was given to Holly Resmondo in appreciation for her dedicated work in compiling the Chapter of the Year book

National Policy Seminar

Wes Grant was selected to represent the national chapter at the National Policy Seminar in Washington, D.C. in March 2007.

Outstanding Chapter of the Year

Presented to the Epsilon Chapter for continuing to strive for excellence in local chapter activities, service to chapter membership and service to the Grand Chapter.

Blue Key Award

Presented to Epsilon Chapter for initiating 16 new members in 2006.

Iota Lambda Sigma Lifetime Achievement Award

Presented to Tommy Rhodes for his years of devoted service and his significant contributions to both Iota Lambda Sigma and to Career Technical Education in the state of Alabama.

Raymond C. Christensen Distinguished Service Award

Presented to Brenda Johnson as an active member with a strong record of involvement in local chapter activities and a commitment to excellence and service in professional endeavors.
